Charlotte Annette Zavala was born to Cecil and Frances Zavala at St. Therese Hospital, in Beaumont, Texas on August 7, 1956. She was a lifelong resident of Orange County and graduated from Little Cypress Mauriceville High School in 1975. Charlotte loved being outside doing anything in her yard. She especially enjoyed tending to her flowers, plants, and trees. When out and about, she was always looking for new flowers to plant. When stuck inside, she loved watching home renovation shows and old westerns. But, the biggest joy in her life was her grandchildren. She loved being a grandmother above all else. She would never show up to visit them without candy, soda, or some kind of treat. She loved watching them grow up and attended many of their activities and performances.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Frances Zavala and brother, Lawrence Zavala.
Those left to cherish Charlotte are her three children; daughters, Danielle Bodin and husband Chris, of Orange, Texas, daughter Tracy Ruthstrom and husband Caleb of Orange, Texas; son, Wesley Wilson of Orange, Texas; seven grandchildren, Austin Slagle, Tyler Slagle, Micah Shirley, Noah Shirley, Colton Slagle, Peyton Thibodeaux, and Klara Ruthstrom and brother, Stanley Zavala.
