Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputies capture a wanted Felon from Orange County.
On February 26, 2025, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Jasper County deputies were deployed to a residence off of U.S 96 in Call, Texas. Located at the residence was James Tyler Chapman, 41, of Bridge City. Chapman had a felony Theft Warrant out of Orange County. He was arrested and brought to the Jasper County Jail.
Chapman is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Sheriff Chuck Havard said his staff are committed to combating criminal activity in Jasper County.
