Over the weekend a person or persons stole the doors off of at least three mausoleums at the Evergreen Cemetery off Jackson Street in Orange. The doors are said to be made of bronze.
The mausoleums with the names Lutcher, Brown, and Slade had the doors and their frames pulled out. Orange Police is asking for help. Monday they were in the process of notifying scrap yards and pawn shops Monday. Also other cemeteries need to check their properties.
It also appeared that a stained glass window may have been taken out of one of the mausoleums.
