The Bridge City Cardinals boys soccer team defeated the Hardin Jefferson Hawks 5-1 to improve to 3-4 in district play. Junior forward Oscar Carranza finished with a hat trick 3 goal performance. Senior midfielder Adrian Draughn commanded the field and knocked in a goal. Freshman forward Dallas Powers headed a goal in late in the second half. Defensive standouts for the cards was senior Kobe Bailey and junior Kian Perry. Senior goal keeper, Trenton Corkran also played well for the Cardinals. Bridge City travels to Hamshire-Fannett, Tuesday at 5pm to take on the Longhorns.
