Orange County ESD firefighters investigating overnight fire at Dentist office in Bridge City.
According to Orange County ESD 2 assistant fire chief Josh Taylor, firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire at the Bridge City Family Dentistry in the 2200 block of Texas Avenue around 1am Thursday morning.
Heavy smoke and flames were coming from the rear of the business when they arrived. No one was inside. Mutual aid was received from OCESD number three and four, along with Acadian Ambulance and BC police, Orange County Sheriffs Office and Pinehurst police.
According to Taylor, the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but it appears to be a total loss.
