Effective 11 am, Oct. 30, Orange County Judge John Gothia has officially lifted the burn ban that was previously in effect for Orange County due to recent rainfall.
“We appreciate the community’s cooperation during the burn ban period,” said Orange County Judge John Gothia. “Thanks to everyone’s efforts and the recent change in conditions, it’s now safe to resume outdoor burning—but we still encourage residents to use caution.”
Residents are reminded to:
- Always attend any outdoor fire until it is fully extinguished.
- Avoid burning on windy days.
- Keep water, tools, or a hose nearby in case of emergency.
Orange County Officials will continue to monitor weather and fire conditions closely. Should fire danger
increase again, restrictions may be reinstated.
