Texas State’s Jack Burke and Arkansas State’s Ashley Kim both finished in the top five of their respective tournaments to earn Sun Belt men’s and women’s golfers of the week.

Burke shot 11-under (202) and finished second while leading Texas State to a fourth-place finish at the Hal Williams Collegiate. The senior had three rounds in the 60s, shooting 65-68-69. He opened with a season low round of 65 and matched his career-best finish at an event. Burke ended with 15 birdies, the second most for an individual at the event, while carding only four bogeys through three rounds. Burke now has three top 25 finishes in the 2024-25 season.
