HENDERSON, Nev. – Texas State men’s golf shot 4-under on Wednesday in the final round of the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate at Reflection Bay Golf Club (Par 72, 7,204 yards) to place 10th in the 22-team field.
The Bobcats answered their 6-under 282 from Tuesday’s second round with the 284 on Wednesday. They shot 284 as a team in the final round and were three strokes off ninth-place Santa Clara.
Jack Burke, of Orange, climbed 12 spots on Wednesday to finish as Texas State’s top individual with a tied-for-12th placing. The junior shot a 3-under 69, his best round of the week, in the final round thanks to seven birdies. He had five birdies on the back-nine and three on three of the four par-fives.
