
Orange police found two small bullet holes in an apartment where a sleeping man was awakened by a crashing sound before dawn Thursday.
Police went to the complex at 4030 Sikes Road off Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at 8 a.m. The 43-year-old man told an officer he was woke up because of the noise which was between 5:30 and 6:30 that morning. He did not see any broken at first, but called police after seeing two small holes. An officer pulled a slug out of one of the holes.

A pickup truck was damaged sometime Wednesday night during an attempted theft at the Wilson Warehouse, 4011 Tulane Road. Orange police were called at 5:30 a.m. Thursday after employees arriving for work noticed the business truck.
Police said the Ford F-150 had a broken door handle. The seat had been moved and the steering column had been damaged.
