Several agencies responded to a brush fire that got out of control around noon on Tuesday.
The fire started behind Claire Dr. near FM 1442. The south wind carried it away from homes but there were reports of a couple of poles that caught fire. There was also a building near a high line area that was in line with the fire. The Forestry Service was called in with a bulldozer to help create a fire line. Firefighters began clearing the scene at 4pm.
