Bruce Michael Howell, 62, of Vidor, TX, passed away on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025, at his residence. A native of Lucedale, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor and worked as a skilled pipefitter.
Bruce had a love for the outdoors and could often be found fishing, riding his motorcycle or dune buggy, or tinkering in his shop. He enjoyed building projects, including a rat rod and a boat, and valued the time he spent with family and friends above all else.
He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Carol Doland Howell of Vidor, TX; son Jacob Adam Howell of Dallas, TX; daughter Lacy Elliott of Kerr, TX; brother Phillip Howell of Leesville, LA; sister Patricia Howell of Dauphin Island, AL; and grandchildren Xander Howell, Noah Darby, Gage and Bryan Elliott.
Bruce will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, mechanical talent, and the joy he brought to those around him.
