The Jefferson County Grand Jury has indicted an Orange man for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
On December 7 Beaumont Police were dispatched to 1060 Harrison in reference to shots fired. They arrived to find a home that had been struck several times and found two teenagers inside who had been shot and/or wounded by shrapnel. Casings from a .223 rifle were found outside of the home. There were also other individuals inside the home who weren’t shot but certainly feared for their lives as bullets rang through the home.
Their investigation lead them Rashard Brady, who was located at an apartment in Beaumont. The 19 year old from Orange was questioned and he confessed to the shooting with the rifle.
