
Bonnie Jean Allen, 80, of Vidor, passed away on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont.
Bonnie was a longtime resident of Vidor and a devoted member of South Park Church of Christ. She dedicated 36 years of her career to serving as the office manager for Dr. Robert C. Matherne’s dental practice, where she was known for her professionalism, kindness, and warm smile that welcomed countless patients over the years.
Outside of work, Bonnie lived life with a passion for the things she loved. An avid horse rider, she especially enjoyed participating in barrel races and spending time outdoors with her horses. She also found great joy in treasure hunting at thrift stores and had a special love for collecting dolls, which brought her both nostalgia and delight.
Bonnie is survived by her loving son, Kelly Mitchell and his wife Jennifer of Vidor, TX; her brothers, Hank Brim and Shane Brim, both of Sour Lake, TX; two cherished grandchildren, Logan Mitchell and wife Bracey of Mauriceville, TX, and Bella Evans of Vidor, TX; and one great-grandson, Sailor Mitchell, who brought her endless joy.
She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her dedication to family, and her love for simple pleasures that made life meaningful.
