
Former Orangefield standout Jason Bodin is having a solid season pitching in relief for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Over the weekend he came in against LSU Friday and did not allow an earned run, giving up two hits, striking out four and walking none in 1.1 inning of relief to help the Sooners win the series.
A week ago he got the win in relief against his former team, the Texas A&M Aggies. Bodin threw the final 2.1 innings of shutout baseball.
On the season the junior is 3-0 with a 3.07 ERA and a .95 WHIP. He’s thrown 14.2 innings for the (19-5) Sooners with 20 strikeouts and just five walks. He’s holding his opponents to a batting avg. of .176.
