Both the Orangefield baseball and softball team had their games moved to Saturday because of Friday mornings storms. Both came away with victories over Warren.
The Bobcats defeated Warren 10-0 as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Garrett Rawls was on the pitcher’s mound, going four innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out five and walking zero. Matt Johnson pitched two shutout innings in relief.
Orangefield collected 12 hits. Adam Tran, Logan Cheek, Cameron Dearing, and Caleb Fregia all had multiple hits for Orangefield Varsity Bobcats. Cheek and Tran each managed three hits and Tran had 3 RBI’s. The Bobcats improve to 12-3 (3-0) and will host Buna on Monday.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the Warren Warriors 16-1 in 3 innings.
Charlee Sanches got the start on the mound giving up a hit with 2 strikeouts. Abigail Curphey finished the game giving up a hit with one strikeout.
Emily Meyers led in RBIs on the day with 4 and 2 runs scored. Aubree Beck and Harleigh Rawls both had homeruns, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Paris Becker had 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and a run scored. Hallee Becker had a hit, a walk and 2 runs scored. Abby Broussard reached base all three times and had a run scored. Rylee Dougay had an RBI, a walk and a run scored. Charlee Sanches reached base three times and scored 3 times.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 4-1 in district play and will play Buna at home on Monday at 5/6:30.
