
The Lady Bobcat bats were hot enough to dry the field Wednesday as they beat Hardin in the district opener 17-1 in three innings.
Teal Kibodeaux got the win on the mound giving up 1 unearned run on 2 hits, with 8 strikeouts.
The Lady Bobcats compiled 13 hits including 3 homeruns in the 3 innings of play. Charlee Sanches went 2 for 3 with 2 homeruns, 4 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Hallee Becker had 3 hits including 2 doubles, 3 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases. Aubree Beck added a homerun, a double, an RBI and 2 runs scored. Teal Kibodeaux had two hits with an RBI and 3 runs scored. Brennah Lee had a single, a walk, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Paisley Reeves had a 2 RBI double and a run scored. Alysen Vincent had a single, an RBI and 2 runs scored. Laila Agerton had two runs scored. Madi LaSalle added a 3 RBI double to end the game.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 1-0 in district play and 11-4 overall and will open the Cleveland tournament tomorrow against Humble at 11:30a.
