The Orangefield Lady Bobcats kicked off the 2025 season with a 4 inning run-rule against the Jasper Lady Bulldogs, 14-0.
Teal Kibodeaux got her first win on the mound as a Lady Bobcat giving up just 1 hit with 11 strikeouts in 4 innings of work.
The Lady Bobcats collected 7 hits on the night, with 5 being for extra bases. Charlee Sanches had a homerun, 2 RBIs and a run scored. Teal Kibodeaux had two doubles, and led the offense with 5 RBIs on the night, and 3 runs scored. Aubree Beck added a single and a double with 3 RBIs and a run scored. Brennah Lee had an RBI single and a run scored. Laila Agerton had a 3 run double, 2 walks, and 2 runs scored. Hallee Becker had a walk and a run scored. Madi LaSalle had a walk and a run scored. The Lady Bobcats begin their season 1-0, and will open up the Anahuac tournament this Thursday with Cleveland at 12:15, followed by Deweyville at 3:05.
The JV Lady Bobcats also started off the season with a 15-0 win of their own. Abigail Stephenson went 3 for 3 with 3 RBIs while also tossing two scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts. Kenli Vacek had a hit, a walk and two runs scored. Amelia McFatter had a hit, an RBI, and a run scored. Breanna LaSalle had a hit, a walk and an RBI. Ava Steiner and Addison LeBlanc both had two walks and two runs scored. Kensli Rush had a hit, a walk, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored while also pitching two scoreless innings with 3 strikeouts. Christa Kyle had a walk, an RBI, and 2 runs scored. Peyton Vincent had a hit and an RBI. Kamryn Kelley had a hit, a walk and 2 runs scored.
