
Orangefield jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning and hung on for a 7-5 win to complete the two game sweep over Diboll in Jasper Friday.
The Bobcats had nine hits in the game, two each from Cole Sanches, Kaleb Menard, Carson Worthy and Logan Anderson with Layne Reynolds picking up the other along with his team leading 17th RBI. Menard added a solo homerun in the sixth, his first of the season.
Kale Spears got the win, giving up four runs on six hits with one strikeout and one walk in four innings. Raegan Valka pitched the final three giving up one run on two hits.
Bobcats (23-6) move on to play either Van Vleck (15-9) or Coldspring (12-15). VV leads that series 1-0.

LCM softball cancelled their second game with Livingston because of rain and will play Saturday at noon in Jasper.
