Friday the Orangefield Bobcats and the Franklin Lions split a doubleheader and will play a Game 3 on Saturday at 4pm in Lufkin for a spot in Round Rock.
Orangefield won Gm.1 dramatic fashion. After tying it with two runs in the bottom of the seventh, Kane Smith stole home in the 8th for a 6-5 win.
In Gm. 2 Franklin took away OF’s momentum quickly with a 3 run homer in the first. They would coast to a 7-0 win in Gm. 2.
