
The Orangefield Bobcats got back to their winning ways Monday as they blanked the Bucs of East Chambers 10-0 in five innings.
Kaleb Menard threw a one hitter with 8K’s and three walks in four innings and Carson Gonzales struck out the side in the fifth.
It was Senior Night and Coach Jake Nash started all nine seniors: Menard, Carson Worthy, Matt Johnson, Layne Reynolds, Colton Michael, Kyler Green, Easton Sprayberry, Peyton Revia, and Reagan Valka.
The Bobcats scored two in the first, three in the third and five in the fifth including the game ender when Logan Anderson doubled home Kaysen Click and Rylan Agerton.
Orangefield (21-7, 12-2) will go into the playoffs next week as the #1 seed from 22-3A in the 3AD1 bracket.
OF played Monday to beat the rain. Tuesday BC travels to LCM, Vidor hosts Silsbee, and WOS welcomes Jasper.
