The Orangefield Bobcats came out on fire in their Area playoff game against Hitchcock in Porter.
They jumped on the Bulldogs 20-9 after the first with senior Jaden Scales scoring 10 of game high 25 points as they went on to win 61-39.
Carson Willis added 14 and 7 rebounds and Rylan Agerton with 10 points and 3 steals as the Bobcats improve to 32-3 and they will play Mexia in the third round. The Blackcats beat Palmer 68-53.
It was the 23rd straight win for the 22-3A Champs.

The 4D2 Final Four is set for the ladies. The Bridge City Lady Cards will play Fredericksburg on Tuesday at 6:30pm in the 4AD2 Semifinals at Bryan Rudder HS. The BC boys are also in the third round of the 4AD1 playoffs. They will play Navasota who defeated Lampasas. The game will be Tuesday at 7pm at West Fork HS.
