After Day One of the 22-3A Track Meet hosted by Anahuac, the Orangefield boys are in first place and the Lady Bobcats are in second place.
OF was paced by a 1-2-3 finish in the 3200 by Carson Worthy, Tanner Sullivan and Timothy Trammell. The Lady Bobcats also finished 1-2-3 in the girls discus lead by freshman Haylee Spears, along with Harleigh Rawls and Greenlea Oldham.
The Bobcats have a slim lead over Anahuac while the ladies are second behind a powerful East Chambers squad. The running finals are Thursday.
The top four finishers in each event will advance to the Area Meet on April 19 in Woodville. The Area qualifiers from Orangefield are listed below.
