The Orangefield Lady Bobcats competed at the LC-M powerlifting meet on Thursday and came home with the 1st place team trophy. Placing 1st was Brooke Morphew (148’s) with 734 lbs., Skylar Hamons (165’s) with 675 lbs. 2nd place lifters were Krista Wheeler, Bailey Cady, Madison Taylor, and Kaitlin Gordon. Other lifters placing were Britton Edgerly, Kayla Gordon, and Julia Droll.
The Bobcat Powerlifting team also competed at the LCM powerlifting meet on Thursday. The following lifters placed 1st: Josh Pennington (123)’s with 640 lbs. and Austin Moore (198’s) with a meet high 1,495 lbs. Other lifters who placed are Adam Jacobs, Jake Bradley, Aaron Galitz, and Luke Padilla. The Bobcats will compete at the Silsbee Powerlifting Meet on Thursday.
