
Bobby Wayne Bray, age 55 of orange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in Beaumont, Texas. Graveside services to honor Bobby’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange, Texas with Pastor Roy Lee Helm officiating. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dorman Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
Bobby was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 19, 1964 to Linda Faye Hebert Bray and Robert Darrel Bray. He graduated from West Orange Stark High School in 1983. Bobby loved all kinds of music and growing up he went with his grandmother to nursing homes to sing gospel songs on Sunday mornings. Bobby enjoyed umpiring baseball games for over 20 years in and around Orange. He loved his Dallas Cowboys, except for Jerry, and was a true fan till the end. Bobby was also quiet the accomplished fisherman and was always ready for a fishing trip with family and friends. Bobby was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert Darrel Bray and his father-in-law Leroy Helm.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Kay Lynn Bray of Orange, TX, son Brandon Bray of Orange, TX, mother Linda Fay Bray of Orange, TX, brothers Clifford Bray and his wife Ranell of Port Bolivar, TX and Tony Bray of Orange, TX, sister-in-law Pamela Bussell of Orange, TX, mother-in-law Pearl Helm, brother-in-laws; Roy Helm and his wife Cindy of Orange, Tx, Barry Morgan and his wife Maryann of Orange, TX and Timothy Helm of Orange, TX. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Pallbearers honoring Bobby will be Barry Morgan, Timothy Helm, Russell Bartholamew, Chris Hicks, Clifford Bray and Tony Bray.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
