
Bobby Joe Maxwell, 91, of Vidor, passed away on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.
A lifelong resident of Vidor, Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army before beginning a long and dedicated career with JCPenney, where he worked as a supervisor for 34 years before retiring. Known for his strong work ethic and kind heart, Bobby lived a life marked by devotion—to his family, his community, and his faith.
Spending time with his family was his greatest joy. Whether it was a simple visit, a shared meal, or time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, those moments meant the world to him.
Bobby is survived by his brother Jack Maxwell; his children, Kimberly Maxwell of Houston, TX, and Greg Maxwell and wife Debbie of Magnolia, TX; and his two great-grandchildren, Kenadie and Kooper.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Maxwell.
Bobby will be remembered for his gentle nature, his loyalty, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
