Bob Morris, 76, of Orange, passed away on February 6, 2021 at his home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Brother John Fortenberry. Burial will follow at Bland Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 28, 1944, he was the son of Robert H. Morris and Alice Elizabeth (Whitsell) Morris. Bob retired at the age of 68 after working for 30 plus years for Dupont. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Deweyville and loved spending his spare time outdoors hunting and fishing. Bob was very involved with the Masonic Lodge # 1163 in Port Neches where he earned Scottish Rite and was a past Master of the lodge. He adored his family most of all and was a wonderful provider for them. Bob left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Morris.
He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Herring Morris; children, Raymond Morris and wife Crystal of Magnolia, Carter Morris and wife Janét of Bridge City, Monique Fischer and spouse Ethan of Port Neches, Meghan Morris and spouse Jason Gossett also of Port Neches, Roshanna Hairston of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 20 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; siblings, Barbara Hogan and spouse Mack and Glenda Simpson and spouse George Wayne.
Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Morris, Carter Morris, Patrick Morris, Logan Morris, Chance Burns, Charles Burke, Noah Fischer, and Ethan Fischer. Honorary pallbearers are Rease Morris-Edgar and Ryden Morris.
