Sunday evening a boat carrying nine passengers, including one child, capsized near the Western Ave bridge in Adams Bayou.
A citizen, Eric Ellison, launched his boat at the Orange Boat Club and picked everyone up. Orange Police arrived at the boat ramp and reported no injuries.
The capsized boat was also recovered. Texas Parks and Wildlife is conducting an investigation.
