Bishop Darrell Orange, age 68, was born June 21, 1953 in Madisonville, Kentucky and passed away August 14, 2021 at his residence in Deweyville, Texas.
He is survived by his beloved wife of forty-nine years, Jeanetta Orange, three children and eight grandchildren: Michael and Stephanie Orange, their sons, Cameron and Landon; Mandy and Andrew Elms, their daughters, Alayna, Ashlyn and Ansley; Phillip and Kelli Orange, and their children, Schuyler, Lamarq, and Chazzlyn; his brother, Norris and Mary Jane Orange; his mother-in-law, Imogene Davis; his sister-in-law, Kathy Dutton; niece, Sara Orange Oglesby; nephew, Jonathan Dutton; his aunt, Helen Coe; and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Darrell Orange and Iris Dean Orange Meehan.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 at Texas District Evangelism Center, 4109 South First Street, Lufkin, Texas. The family will also receive friends 5 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Deweyville United Pentecostal Church, 827 C.R. 456, Deweyville, Texas and the funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Deweyville United Pentecostal Church. Interment to follow at Deweyville Cemetery, Deweyville, Texas.
