It was a big weekend for the LCM Bass Team.
On Saturday the school was awarded the first ever Team of the Year trophy, and then on Sunday LCM’s Tyler Shearin and Kameryn Henderson, along with boat captain Lee Shearin, weighed in a two day total of 42.40 and won the tournament.
They defeated the Bridge City team of Wilson/Bourque, who finished second for the second year in a row. Not bad when you consider there’s 400 teams in the tournament.
LCM is sponsored by Nellie Miller (below).

Yes Thank You, boat captains are truly some amazing people. They pass on their skill and knowledge to another generation in an incredible one to two ratio. Sacrifice time often vacation days from jobs and family to put these anglers out there. Some are parent or grandparent to one of the anglers and some just big hearted volunteers. Our business sponsors are incredible and there for us year after year, even through a very difficult year like we just went through. Our team like many others, operate as one big family not just a team.
What a wonderful Captain Tyler had ! Congratulations to all !
