Monday the intersection of Hwy. 87 and Allie Payne in Orange was a mess for a while following a two car accident.
A red Mazda was struck from behind by a white SUV, pushing it into the southbound lane of Hwy. 87. While authorities were working the scene, they were detouring southbound traffic over the railroad tracks to Bob Hall Rd. The trailer of an 18 wheeler got stuck going over the tracks. Gilbeaux’s Towing brought the big truck out to free the big rig.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
