Saturday Downtown Orange was host to Art in the Park, the Orange Riverfront Car Show, a parade for WBC Champion Shock Foster, and tours at the First United Methodist Church where they are celebrating their 150th Anniversary. The Stark House was also open for tours.
Art in the Park featured clothes, jewelry, paintings, books and items for inside and outside the house along with several food trucks and baked goods. The Car Show featured more than 50 custom vehicles. And during the middle of the day, a parade was held down Green Ave for boxing champ Shock Foster. Lead by the WOS Band, they marched to 8th St in front of old city hall where Mayor Larry Spears, Jr. held a ceremony for the Orange native. The presentation started with a too cute rendition of the National Anthem from his daughter.
