Aubree Beck is the KOGT Athlete of the Week sponsored by First Financial Bank.
The Orangefield shortstop has been solid all season for the Bobcats but in the third round playoff series against Central, she turned it up a notch.
In the two game sweep she was 3-4 in each game. Her totals were 6-8 with four doubles, 4 RBI’s, and 2 runs scored. And her biggest hit was a walk off double in the seventh inning to beat the Lady Bulldogs 7-6 in Game One.
Defensively the FRESHMAN did not make any errors.
“She’s a special player that leads a special group of freshmen who have all contributed,” said Head Coach Rebekah Ragsdale. “She’s done everything we’ve asked of her and more.”
Beck and the Bobcats will play Grandview in a one game playoff on Friday at 6:30pm in Navasota.
