
The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Beatrice Fezia, 82, of Orange, will be Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11am at the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow at Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 until 11am.
On March 21, 1940, in Orange, Texas, Beatrice Fezia was born to Theo and Beatrice Richard.
She lived in Orange her entire life. She was educated at St. Therese Catholic School and graduated from Wallace High School.
She met and later married Jesse Lee Fezia on April 10, 1957. This union was blessed with five children. She loved her family.
She also loved during Mission work. That included visiting and praying for the sick, feeding the hungry and giving words of encouragement.
Beatrice loved the Lord Jesus Christ . She joined Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in 1985 under the leadership of the late Pastor George H. Brown. Later under the leadership of Pastor John H. Smith, Jr. she was ordained a Deaconess on July 7, 2000. She was faithful to her duties as a Deaconess, Pastors Aide Member, Usher and Sunday School member. After serving at Mount Calvary for over 28 years, she later united with Gods Living Word Church under the leadership of Pastor Norman Warnell, her son in law.
On October 2, 2022 she was called home to be with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 5 sisters, her husband Jesse, her children,
Jesse Jr., Minister Marilyn Collins, and David (Petey) Fezia, granddaughter Monique Griffin and great-grandson Legend Ray Preston.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters Minister Deborah Walker (Freddie) Minister Cynthia Warnell (Norman), brothers John Richard, Gerald Richard (Virginia), Edward Richard and Herman Richard (Mona). sister Mary Spears, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
