On January 22nd, the LCM Bear Iron powerlifting teams traveled to West Orange-Stark to compete. Both squads set multiple PR’s during the night. The boys won the meet with the girls finishing third.
The individual results for Bear Iron in their weight class are as followed: Xavier Collier: 2nd place in the 114 lbs. Class Colt Rawlings: 2nd place in the 123 lbs. Class Gunner Fry: 1st place in the 132 lbs. Class, Greyson Weir: 2nd place in the 148 lbs. Class, Aiden Snyder: 3rd place in the 148 lbs. Class, Isaac Pinder: 1st place in the 165 lbs. Class and outstanding lifter on the light platforms, Jaxson Phelps: 2nd place in the 165 lbs. Class, Blaine Chandler: 2nd place in the 198 lbs. Class, Fowler Mills: 1st place in the 220 lbs. Class, Jacob Costner: 1st place in the 275 lbs. Class, Cayse Dougharty: 2nd place in the 275 lbs. Class, Cooper Smith: 1st place in the 308 lbs. Class.
