The LCM boys finished third at the Hardin Jefferson Tournament at Beaumont Country Club with a team score of 338.
Kelly was first with a 288 and Nederland was second with a 330.
Jack Burke led the Bears with a freshmen school record of 70. He finished second behind Tyler Gonzales’s 69. Blade Broussard shot 82, Jack Tindel shot 90, Mason Sterling shot 96 and Wyatt Wozniak 112.
The Bears will travel to Jasper to play at Rayburn Country on Monday Jan. 29
