LCM’s Cole Frost sizes up a three point attempt Friday at The Reservation
It was a tough shooting night for the LCM Bears as they fell in the second round of the playoffs to the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks 50-42. In the first half the Bears, known for shooting the three, only hit one shot outside of the paint, a three by Cole Frost. He would go on to hit two more in the second half to keep the score close throughout the second half.
Katon Brown had a great game inside, pouring in 20 points and pulling down 14 boards in his final game at LCM. Seniors Brown, Frost, Christian Weatherly, Ty’Reke Brown, Brayden Babineaux, Tyerese Heard, Tristan Rhodes and Cameron McIlwain helped the Bears to a 23-13 record and a second place finish in 22-4A.
HJ, lead by Jason Persohn’s 14 pts, and 13 from Demetrius Johnson, will move on to play Houston Yates, who eliminated West Orange-Stark on Thursday.
