The LCM Lady Bears watched a comfortable 19 point lead evaporate Saturday, before putting away the Jasper Lady Bulldogs 55-46 on Saturday.
The game was played Saturday because of the State Cheer Competition Friday night.
LCM got off to a hot start with a 21-7 first quarter and finished the first half with an 11 point lead, 27-16. Jasper scored more points (17) in the third quarter than they did the first half to get back into the game.
But the Lady Bears hit their free throws in the fourth (7 of 8) to seal the victory.
Keylie Washburn matched her jersey with 25 points, and freshman Eden Frenzel added 10 to lead the Lady Bears. Jasper was lead by #4 C. McQueen with 17.
