Monday night the Bridge City Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet and honored Jerry McInnis as its Citizen of the Year.
McInnis has been involved with the community for many years, most notably with Little League Baseball and as a member of the BCISD School Board.
Rani Huckaby received the gavel as the new Chairman of the Board.
The Bridge City Library was named Business of the Year and Benitris Edwards was named Ambassador of the Year.
