
Bad weather on Friday had teams scrambling to find new dates and times to play.
LCM and WOS moved their game up to 4pm Friday. The Lady Bears stayed undefeated in district with a 15-0 win and a three inning perfect game for Tessa Erickson. Lexis Moss had a 2 run HR. Ella Stephenson had two hits including a 3 run triple. Kendall Jones was 3-3 with 2RBI’s.

Orangefield traveled to Kirbyville Monday and whipped the Wildcats 16-1 to improve to 9-0 in district play. Teal Kibodeaux got the win on the mound giving up 1 unearned run on 3 hits, 3 walks and 8 strikeouts.
Hallee Becker reached base all 4 times with 2 walks, a single, a triple and 4 runs scored. Kibodeaux had 3 hits including 2 singles and a triple with 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Laila Agerton had 2 singles, a triple, an RBI and 3 runs scored. Paisley Reeves had a single, 2 walks, and a run scored. Kenli Vacek had a single, an RBI and 2 runs scored. Alysen Vincent had a single, an RBI and a run scored. Charlee Sanches had a double, a single, 3 RBIs and a run scored. Jocelyn Droddy had a single and 3 runs scored. Audrey Sonnier and Madi LaSalle both had runs scored.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 25-4 overall and 9-0 in district play and will play host to East Chambers Tuesday night at 6:30 to celebrate Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night.

Vidor beat BC Monday at home 7-1 scoring 6 runs in the first inning. Sophia Aguirre had a complete game 3 hitter and struck out 6. Jaylyn Welch had 2 RBI’s as the BC defense committed five errors.

BC came back for a 7-4 win over Lumberton to split the series. The Cards were down 2-0 with two outs in the third and preceded to score 6 runs on RBI hits from Carson Sauceda and Carson Bounds, and Owen Tucker scored two on a double. Sauceda finished 3-4 and Tucker 2-3. BC used five pitchers with Trey Goodwin getting the win.

LCM (4-0) beat Vidor 5-1 with Landon Richards pitching a complete game four hitter. He gave up no earned runs, struck out five and walked 2. Kolt Holden struck out 10 in 4.2 for the Pirates (2-4).

Kirbyville scores in the eighth to beat Orangefield 4-3. With a runner at third an error brought the runner home for the win. The loss stops the Bobcat (5-1) win streak at eight.
