Octavious Lamont Williams of Orange died of gunshots to his upper torso, according to an autopsy report. Police Detective Captain Robert Enmon said the autopsy was conducted on Thursday. He said investigators are continuing talking to people and gathering evidence. Detectives executed a search warrant on Thursday night in connection with the investigation.
The body of the 37-year-old Williams was found the afternoon of Saturday, December 22, in his Sabine Park Apartment, 300 block of Second Street. Enmon said Williams’ mother went to check on him because she and his friends had not heard from him. He lived alone in the apartment.
On Wednesday, Enmon said police have talked to “several persons of interest, some more interesting than others.”
