Early Sunday morning at approximately 3:30am authorities were called to the Service Road near the IH-10 and Hwy. 62 intersection for an auto/pedestrian accident.
A man riding a bicycle was struck by a white dually pickup truck traveling eastbound. The driver of the truck stopped and cooperated with police while the man on the bike was taken to a Beaumont hospital in serious condition.
Orange Police took possession of the bicycle.
