THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 17, 2018 IS THE DEADLINE TO TURN IN DOCUMENTS IF YOU HAVE INTEREST IN THE BUYOUT, ACQUISITION, OR ELEVATION PROGRAMS.
If you live in the unincorporated areas of Orange County and your home was affected by Hurricane Harvey, you MAY be eligible to participate in one of the programs Orange County has available for relief. Orange County has three programs available to impacted homeowners in the form of Home Elevation, Home Buyout or Home Acquisition Program. These programs are completely voluntary.
We are requesting homeowners who want to know if their home would qualify for one of these programs to fill out a Notice of Voluntary Interest that is located on our website at www.co.orange.tx.us. The form is located at the top of the page. In addition to submitting the form please provide four pictures of your home, which should include front, back, and each side of your home and an elevation certificate if you have one.
The requested information should be turned in at the Orange County Emergency Management Office located at 11475 FM 1442; Orange, Texas 77630 as soon as possible. If you have questions, or to request a printed or emailed copy of the forms, email phil@hampstenconsulting.com.
