
On Saturday evening, June 21, 2025, at approximately 8:30pm, West Orange Officers responded to Porky’s, located at Highway 87 and FM 105 in West Orange, in reference to a report of a robbery. Officers were met by a white female who said she was walking on Dupont Dr. in Orange and a gold-colored truck pulled up alongside of her and a black male opened the passenger door and called out to her. The female said that as she walked closer to the vehicle she was pulled into the truck against her will. She told responding Officers that the black male demanded money from her. After driving around for a while, they arrived in the parking lot of Porky’s gas station at which time she was pushed from the vehicle and the black male left the parking lot travelling west on Highway 105, keeping the victim’s cell phone and purse without her permission.
Officers from Bridge City PD and Orange County Sheriff’s Office were in the area and located the suspect vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was made on Highway 62. Officers located several items belonging to the victim, after which, the lone black male occupant, was taken into custody and transported to the Orange County Jail and charged with Kidnapping and Agg. Robbery. He’s been identified as 33 year old Dacorious Travon Heard of Orange.
This case remains under investigation by West Orange PD.
