Fire was set to a storage building behind the former Entex/Centerpoint office on Thursday. That building is located in the 1800 block of Strickland.
The call came in just before 2pm as ESD3 responded and put out the fire. It is believed the fire was deliberately set as there was no power to building. Over the last several months there have been a handful of fires in the area believed to be suspicious because of the same circumstances.
Whether it’s the same person or not is under investigation. Orange and West Orange Fire also assisted.
