Born in Houston, Texas, on November 7, 1956, she was the daughter of Charles Arsenault and Emily (Lafitte) Arsenault. Anne was a vibrant soul, full of love and creativity, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Anne was deeply committed to her faith and was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church. As a member of the St. Mary Altar Society, she devoted her time and energy to serving her church and community, embodying the values of compassion and service.
She was a devoted fan of the Houston Astros and the Texas Longhorns, and never missed an opportunity to cheer on her favorite teams. Anne’s creativity shone brightly through her passion for crafting and baking. She thoroughly enjoyed making crafts to donate to St. Mary’s Fall Festival fundraising event. Years ago, she owned Cakes N Stuff bakery in Orange with her mother, where they created delicious treats and cakes that were enjoyed by many in the community. They were awarded “Best bakery in Orange County” in 1990. Even after closing the bakery, Anne continued to spread sweetness by making and sharing her mother’s famous fudge at Christmas time, her favorite season of the year, and baking special cakes for family celebrations, always ensuring that every occasion was marked with love.
Traveling also brought Anne immense joy, and she particularly loved cruising, exploring new destinations with her family. However, her greatest pride and joy came from her grandchildren. Anne was their biggest fan, attending every baseball game, dance competition, and special event, cheering them on with unwavering support. Her presence at these moments was a source of comfort and encouragement, and her love will forever be woven into the fabric of their lives.
