Born in Pryor, Oklahoma, on January 6, 1963, she was the daughter of Lawrence Edward Wright and Evelyn (Price) Wright.
Angela loved challenging her mind, and could often be found working on puzzles, sudoku, and word games. She also enjoyed caring for a lifetime’s worth of beloved family pets, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and fish. Angela was known for her competitive nature, especially during family board game nights where the heated arguments happened only with the understanding that love was being shared.
Whether she would admit it or not, Angela was a foodie. She relished in visiting her favorite local restaurants and placing unique orders that only she could concoct.
Among Angela’s proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She never missed a dance recital, baseball game, or out-of-town beauty pageant for her children; her devotion to them was paramount. Angela’s legacy will undoubtedly live on through the love and values she imparted to them, as well as through the many joyful moments they shared together. Her passing marks a significant loss, yet her enduring influence will continue to inspire those whose lives she enriched.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 28 years, Mike Granger; children, Chelsey Oubre and husband Daniel, Mitchell Robinson, Kelli Granger, Tanya Sterling and husband Chuck; and her grandchildren, Craig Sterling, Colton Sterling, Rusty Oubre, Corbin Sterling, and Skye Oubre; along with numerous other loving family and friends.
