Amber Marie D’Arc, 46, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on January 14, 2025, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Visitation will begin prior to the service at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born on February 23, 1979. Amber was a devoted K9 Police Officer for the Vidor Police Department for 13 years. Amber was a true California girl with a vibrant spirit that drew people to her. She was often the center of attention wherever she went, making friends easily and leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Amber’s dedication to her career as a police officer was commendable, as she served her community with passion and integrity. Beyond her profession, she cherished a variety of hobbies and interests. She loved to craft and garden, finding joy in creating beautiful things. Fishing was another favorite pastime of hers, and she thoroughly enjoyed traveling to new places. Amber’s legacy will continue to shine through the lives she touched and the memories she created. She will forever be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving wife Katie D’Arc; children Ralph Vincent Valenciano, Syrea Novel Barton, Riley Nicole Parry, and Kade William Parry; close friend, Tom Meadows; K9 partner, Rocky.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
