Adrian “Wayne” Carlton, 82, of Mauriceville, Texas passed away on December 27, 2023 in Vidor, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Mauriceville, Texas.
Wayne was born in Lufkin, Texas on March 12, 1941 to Lila and Roy Carlton. He was married to Martha Carlton for 47 years. They had two children; many grand kids; and even more nieces and nephews to love. Wayne worked in the Electrical Field his whole career before retiring to come home and be with his family. During his retirement he took on landscaping and became the best “baby sitter” for his youngest grandchild, Gracelyn.
Wayne was preceded in death by his Wife, Martha Carlton; Son- Adrian Wayne Carlton, Jr.; Parents- Lila and Roy Carlton;
Infant Brother- Thomas Gerald Carlton
Those left to celebrate his memory are his Daughter- Jennifer Davis; Sister-Barbara Bennett and her husband David; Brother- Lewis Carlton and his wife Mary Lee; Grandchildren- Nicholas Davis, Jenna Freeman, Douglas Carlton, Gracelyn Davis, Jacob Freeman, and Madyson Cross; Nephews- Jason Bennett, David Bennett, Jr., Brian Ferguson; Nieces- Molly Johnson and many other great nieces and nephews.
