
The Celebration of Life for Mr. Adam Louis Gans, 78, of Orange, will be Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 3pm at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Disposition will be cremation.
Visitation will be from 1 until 3pm.
Adam Louis Gans was born March 6, 1946, in Orange to Mary (Bellard) Gans and Matthew Gans.
After growing into manhood, he enlisted in the United States Navy. After completing his tour of duty, he was Discharged With Honors.
“Smiley” as some knew him, returned home, and was employed as an Operator at the E.I. DuPont Sabine River Plant. He retired after some 28 years of service.
A long-standing member of the St. Paul Church, he served of the Board of Trustees.
He is survived by one son, Duane Spencer (Monica) of Houston, TX, six daughters, Lorenza Hinson (Kelvin) of Orange, Lekesha Williams (Brian) of Port Arthur, TX, Tiffinie Gans of Orange, Adammetra Roberts (Cisco) of Port Arthur, and Adammie Gans and Adamnetra (Shug) Gans, both of Orange, two sisters, Mary Ella Knox and Emma Augustine (Kenneth), both of Orange, 36 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
