UPDATE: The Orange Police Department have identified the driver of the motorcycle involved in the fatal traffic crash that occurred on June 6, 2026. The deceased has been identified as Jarrett Graff-Gutierrez, 42, of Port Arthur, Texas.

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers with the City of Orange Police Department responded to the intersection of FM 105 and Oilla Road in reference to a major traffic crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a motorcycle was traveling westbound in the 11000 block of FM 105 when a GMC SUV entered the intersection. The motorcycle subsequently collided with the SUV.
The motorcycle operator sustained critical injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Justice of the Peace Pct. 4 Rodney Price arrived on scene and ordered an autopsy.
The driver of the GMC SUV remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
This crash remains under investigation by the City of Orange Police Department. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
